Think of yourself as a beautiful and brightly lit room. You are naturally filled with Light and Love. Sometimes when we shut the curtains, consciously or unconsciously, we feel like we are full of darkness and heaviness.
Breathwork can help support you in opening those curtains to let the Light back in. The Light that is ALWAYS there. The Light that you ALWAYS ARE.
Jennifer's style of Breathwork is a conscious, circular, mouth to belly breathing technique that gently yet powerfully stimulates the sympathetic nervous system. In doing this, the breath can help you access and release repressed and suppressed feelings and emotions including powerlessness, unworthiness, fear, anger, grief, resentment, jealousy, self-loathing, insecurity, and even repressed joy, that are being held in the body. The dense feelings and emotions that cause you to feel like your curtains are tightly shut!
These energies contribute to feeling unmotivated, uninspired, and resistant to the gifts that come with being human.
The beauty of this Breathwork technique is that the Breath does the work! There is no thinking, figuring out, understanding, or processing in the mind. All you need to do is focus on the technique and allow the breath to shine a Light where it and your body knows is needed.

About the class:
First I will talk about Breathwork and explain fully the technique and what you may experience. This is extremely important for people new to breathwork.
The active Breathwork technique will be 22 to 28 minutes. Then there will be a guided meditation and a deeply relaxing rest time afterwards. This rest phase is extremely important and will feel wonderful after the active breathing. At the end of class you will have time to share your experience if desired. Plan 1.5 hours for the entire session.
Very Important Note!
We will start on time and very important information about what to expect is given at the beginning of class. Because of this, if you are new (fewer than 2 sessions) to my breathwork class, you will not be able to join after I have begun the class. And NO ONE will be able to join in after the beginning grounding meditation has started. So please arrive a few minutes early. Thank you so much for your understanding. I want everyone to have the very best experience possible and these conditions will support this.
What to Bring:
You will be sitting up for the beginning information and lying down for the rest of the session.
*Bring a yoga mat or blanket of any thickness to lie on. You may use a pillow under your knees if needed but not under your head during the active breathing unless you absolutely need to. This helps for maximum air flow.
*You may use a pillow under your head after the active breathing portion has ended and the rest period has begun.
*Have a blanket available if you tend to get cold. Breathwork can cause a fluctuation of body temperature throughout the session.
*At the end of the active breathing portion of the class there will be an amazing feeling vocal release. If you feel like it would be easier able to do this into a pillow, please bring one with you.
*Eye coverings may help you to immerse yourself even more deeply in the experience.
*Hydration is important after Breathwork, please bring some water. NO GLASS PLEASE
